She is a natural who has gotten heat damage from hot combs and not using a heat protector. You can see the straight pieces from the damage.
What I did was twist the front as she requested to hide some of the straight pieces because she isn't ready to chop.
****HEAT DAMAGE: Never use a heated appliance without a heat protector. How to know if your heat protector is working....If you smell the product it's working. If you smell your hair it's not working.
